    The policy team at the Charles Koch Institute is driven by a unique vision and passion for enabling individuals to break down barriers and informing meaningful policy discussions. As the team grows, we will be looking for professionals with various levels of experience to join us. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to national conversations on important issues. Future roles could include research and analysis, relationship building through partnerships and grant-making, public representation through op-eds, blogs, or other writing, and thought leadership.     Your Responsibilities Could Include

     

    • Conduct or drive policy research and analysis and contribute to materials for internal distribution and external publication, such as op-eds, white papers, and blog posts on key issues
    • Identify, or contribute to the identification of, strategic partnerships to advance the understanding of key policy issues through educational activity
    • Support educational programs by identifying curriculum and providing content and instruction, or identifying relevant guest speakers
    • Prepare products such as briefing materials and presentations for use by internal stakeholders

     

     

    Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization

     

    • 1-6 years of experience as an analyst, researcher, outreach, or partnership building role in a policy environment
    • BA required
    • Strong analytical and writing skills
    • Solid presentation skills
    • Demonstrate high initiative with the ability to work independently
    • Excitement for the principles of a free society
